Drone Filming & Projection Sculptures
artists —> Nicole Heidtke & Stefan Baumberger
WEEK ONE: 17–18 & WEEK TWO 24–28 July, 10am–4pm, ages: 12–24
talc.’s arts and music summer school will be inspired by the underwater world. We will use echo sounding to compose music and create graphics (using the software Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator). With the video drone, we will film visual material to create stunning projections on sculptures. Let’s create an impressive atmosphere for the dance and physical theatre group!
The group from week one can continue to work on projections and film editing – as well as working on a stage design. New participants are welcome!
Sound: Composing & programming
artist —> Adam Staff
WEEK ONE: 19–21 July, 10am–4pm, ages: 14–24
In this project we will learn about chips, bread boards, pots and caps – although not the ones you might be thinking of! Through play and experimentation we will transform simple electrical circuits into custom musical instruments, controlled by light, sound, tape, coins and more. We will use these instruments and our observations and recordings of the environment – the shapes, sounds and textures of nature – as inspiration for laser-cut percussion, and for our final group composition. We recommend to book all three days for the sound and music module.
